At Bootsale.com, we want your to love what you buy. But if something isn’t quite right, we are here to help with a straightforward returns process.

Eligibility for Returns

You can return most items for a full refund if:

  1. The item is returned unopened and in the same condition that you received it.
  2. New items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  3. Used items must not show additional signs of wear or damage.

Items Not Eligible for Return (unless faulty).

  1. The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged upon arrival:
  2. Unsealed products not suitable for return due to hygiene or health protection reasons (e.g skincare, cosmetics, certain clothing).
  3. Sealed audio, video media or software that has been opened after delivery.
  4. Custom made or personalised goods (including personalised handmade items).
  5. Items that may deteriorate or expire quickly (e.g. food, certain health products).
  6. Digital Content (e.g. eBooks, downloads, apps) once delivery has started and you have accepted, it cannot be cancelled.
  7. Alcoholic beverages where the price depends on market fluctuations that we cannot control.

How to Return an Item

You can return items using any of the following convenient methods:

  1. Drop off at selected local returns points
  2. Heavy or Bulk items collection arranged through a specialist courier team
  3. Locker returns which are ideal for smaller packages

We will guide you through your return options during the return request process.

Return costs within the UK start from £3.99 and may vary depending on size and method of return.

Refunds

  • Once your item is returned and checked, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
  • This may take up to 7 working days from the date we receive the returned item.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If you have received an item that is damaged, incorrect or defective, please contact our customer services team as soon as possible so that we can make things right.

If your item’s packaging arrives damaged, we strongly suggest that you refuse the item so that the courier company can process the item as damaged and return it back to us so we can conduct a full inspection – if you do refuse an item due to damages, please contact us straight away and we will issue out a replacement item and contact the courier company.
